This record has been superseded and merged into HTA-0383 (Hackysack / Footbag).
Reason: Confirmed duplicate — same transcript source file (HACKEYSACK.txt), same story content (identical "Howard Cosell catch" reference, same marketing claims, same structure). HTA-0383 was created first and is the canonical record.
Merge date: 2026-07-07
Canonical record: HTA-0383_Hackysack.md
Note: HTA-0441 provided additional context (Roland Snelling as manufacturer, "pataka" as original game name, Aspen connection, turkey feathers, $6 retail price) that should be incorporated into HTA-0383 in a future update.
