HENRY TENENBAUM Putting It Up Front
HUMOROUS HENRY Lawrence is reputed to be even funnier in Washington (WTOP-TV) than he was in Buffalo, but he isn't Henry Lawrence anymore.
The ex WKBW reporter startled his anchorman one evening by wrapping up one of his stories: "This is Henry Lawrence Tenenbaum for Ch. 9 News." He answered his colleagues' "What?" on the air, explaining (unpompously, I'm sure), "Maybe after Watergate everything should be up front. That's my name. From now on it's Tenenbaum."
The last time Henry worked under his real name was as program director at WBFO-FM.
Column mention confirming Henry Tenenbaum's presence and activities in the Bay Area media landscape.
