KRON reporters nab cable nominations
KRON's cable connection has proved to be an awarding experience for two of its stars.
Reporters Richard Hart and Henry Tenenbaum have received national CableACE Award nominations for their individual programs on The Discovery Channel. Each has been nominated for best "Magazine Host." Tonight, viewers can judge for themselves.
Tenenbaum, who is entertainment reporter for KRON, also hosts the cable science series "Beyond 2000" on The Discovery Channel. The magazine-style series looks at cutting-edge technological developments. The 7 p.m. edition tonight includes segments on how shredded money is used as compost. The 10 p.m. program focuses on computer bulletin boards and truck fuel made from recycled phone books.
Column mention confirming Henry Tenenbaum's presence and activities in the Bay Area media landscape.
